African Kitchen Garden

Many of the women  who received agricultural loans from RSF have suffered. They were so happy and proud to have a garden, to make a living for their families. They rented land and went to work, tiling the soil, planting, weeding, fertilizing often without anyone helping.
Yet many of the crops failed due to drought, theft and disease.  They were back to poverty again, to near starvation.
For $45, you can bring life back to a family. Literally. That’s all it takes. You can be the one to provide an organic, sustainable kitchen garden for a small family. In a keyhole garden, compost and water is filtered in at the garden top. This compact garden allows the family to eat organic veggies right from the small yard next to the house.
